Spencer Makenzie's is famous for fish tacos that have won VC Reporter's best-in-category award for 16 consecutive years and earned a spot in Foursquare, The Chive, and Business Insider's top 50 tacos in America. You can order grilled or tempura fish topped with cabbage, cilantro, peppers, and their signature Spencer Sauce on a flour tortilla. They've also made FiveThirtyEight's top 20 burritos list with their grilled fish and shrimp burrito. The restaurant runs a 2-for-1 fish taco happy hour Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 5pm. Beyond the food, Spencer Makenzie's hosts The Throw Down, billed as the world's largest cornhole tournament, alongside live music and festivals.
