Spencer Makenzie's built its reputation on fish tacos—locals have voted them the best for 16 years running, and they've ranked in the top 50 tacos in America by multiple national outlets. The signature dish comes grilled or tempura with cabbage, cilantro, bell peppers, and their house Spencer Sauce on a flour tortilla. They also make a top-20 ranked fish and shrimp burrito according to FiveThirtyEight's analysis of thousands of restaurants. Stop by Monday through Thursday between 3pm and 5pm for their 2-for-1 fish taco happy hour. The restaurant also hosts The Throw Down, an annual cornhole tournament and festival featuring live music, food, and entertainment.
