Moqueca Restaurant brings authentic Brazilian cuisine to Ventura County from two locations in Oxnard and Thousand Oaks.
Over 17 years in, they're known for fresh ingredients and traditional recipes, with a menu built around their namesake moquecas—seafood cooked in clay pots with tomato, cilantro, coconut milk, and Brazilian seasonings. Beyond the signature dish, you'll find ceviche-style ceviches, bobó capixaba, fried calamari, garlic shrimp, and croquettes. The Oxnard location offers waterfront views. Both spots serve kids' meals and sides like Brazilian white rice.
