Freedom Coffee operates on a philosophy of slowing down and connecting with others over quality coffee.
Open daily from 7am to 2pm, they've built their shop around rejecting the laptop-cafe model—there's no wifi, no drive-through, just space to be present with people. The founders started Freedom Coffee to escape corporate life and build something community-focused instead. They source organic, ethically sourced ingredients from local businesses, offer vegan and gluten-free options, and use only recycled and compostable cups and straws. As a Surfrider-certified Ocean Friendly business, they're embedded in Ventura's beach community and committed to supporting positive mental health through the simple act of sharing good coffee.
