Double Play Pizza makes everything from scratch in their kitchen.
Their sauce is house-made with California tomatoes and Italian spices, the dough is a whole wheat blend that's aged to develop flavor, and every pizza is handmade to order so you can customize it however you want. They offer gluten-free pizzas too (small size, $3.50 extra). Beyond pizza, they do Italian meatball subs on a grilled roll with homemade meatballs, marinara, and whole-milk mozzarella. Regulars have been coming back since they were kids, drawn to the friendly couple who run the place and the straightforward, quality approach to pizza.
